The Council of the Americas holds its 38th annual Washington conference from at the Inter-American Development Bank (map) on May 6 and at the U.S. Department of State (map) on May 7. The 2008 Washington Conference on the Americas will again bring together distinguished leaders from across the Americas to focus on the major policy issues affecting the hemisphere.
