On March 19, 2008, the Council of the Americas, in collaboration with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, hosted U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez for a debriefing on the February 27 Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America Ministerial in Los Cabos, Mexico. Members of the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC) and other private sector representatives with a stake in the process participated in the debriefing. NACC members will meet with President Bush, President Calderón, and Prime Minister Harper at the North American Leaders Summit in New Orleans in April.
